Cleaning SAFE| 2020 | Keeping Your Home Safe & Clean

It’s Now About “SAFE” / DISINFECTED / CLEAN

A great deal has changed in the cleaning industry over the last few months of 2020 in our janitorial division and maid service divisions.  With COVID-19 many priorities have shifted to putting a heavy emphasis on disinfection and safety in our residential cleaning services.  Our janitorial division Engineered Clean has always been in sanitize / safety mode but is now a model for Maids In America (residential).

It Starts With Our Team

Our employee safety policies have become much tighter and more detailed:

  • Everyone’s temperature is checked on workdays
  • Standard questions related to COVID-19 safety are asked
  • Safety gloves and masks are worn
  • In some cases face shields and bio-hazard cleaning suits are worn

The bottom line is that in order for our customers to be safe our employees have to be safe as well before they initiate cleaning at homes or office.

RESIDENTIAL FAQS

SAFETY:

  • Our maids wear standard PPE including masks and gloves before entering homes
  • Maids follow good safety practices including changing gloves between clients and using hand sanitizers between gloves
  • All maids are trained on COVID-19 safety

PRODUCTS:

  • Just as in our commercial cleaning division our Maids now use a 3rd Generation QUAT based disinfectant that kills all viruses / bacteria / etc
  • True QUAT based disinfectant wipes are used as well

METHODS:

  • Emphasis is put on high-touch areas such as door handles, other handles, etc
  • More disposable products are used to clean with such as wipes and/or paper towels with less dependence on microfiber rags (except for mirrors/windows/etc)
